官方表示，第五届《英雄联盟：云顶之弈》公开赛在 3 月 24 日-4 月 14 日举行，赛事奖金池高达 200 万人民币，总冠军更将独享 100 万人民币奖励，同时还将产生 5 个由拳头游戏举办、奖金高达 45.6 万美元的《英雄联盟：云顶之弈》怪兽来袭全球总决赛晋级名额。
此外，IT之家从《英雄联盟》官方处了解到，本次 TOC5 赛事下设“全民云巅赛道、直播平台赛道、城市网吧赛道、再战突围赛道”四大预选赛道，玩家可选择各赛道同时报名参加比赛。
