Keanu Reeves 主演动作电影《John Wick: Chapter 4》（疾速追杀 4）现正上映中，导演 Chad Stahelski 近期接收 IndieWire 专访时透露本片初剪片长为 3 小时 45 分钟，导演直言：「我们完蛋了！」
《John Wick: Chapter 4》最终片长为 169 分钟，已是系列电影中的最长，而为何初剪会长达近 4 小时，原因出在本集加入了许多新角色，而这些角色都拥有一定程度的篇幅介绍，像是 Rina Sawayama 的 Akira、Shamier Anderson 饰演的 Mr. Nobody 与甄子丹饰演的盲人杀手 Caine，都在本片与 John Wick 有着重要的连结，才得已扩展与加深本集的世界观。
剪辑 Nathan Orloff 表示他希望一切的中心仍是 John Wick，因此只能不断地压缩内容，从 3 小时 45 分钟变成 169 分钟，而本来《John Wick: Chapter 4》就是一个非常线性的故事，因此无法大量重新编排它，只能筛选出我们不需要的故事内容。Chad Stahelski 表示只要删减超过 30 秒的内容，便会要后期制作团队重新观看电影，确保电影保持流畅与其整体性。
《John Wick: Chapter 4》最终成功获得外界一致赞赏，再创系列电影与动作武打电影的新巅峰。
