在早先于纽约举办的放映会上，Ben Affleck 指出自己从一开始就不打算找人来诠释 Michael Jordan，并非是 Michael Jordan 本人的要求，因为他认为 Michael Jordan 的传奇地位与辨识度已经高到无人可以替代，若是让人来演 Michael Jordan 只会毁了这部电影，Ben Affleck 更提到：「Michael Jordan 是这世界上唯一能够饰演他自己的人，但是他现在已经太老了。」
