因疫情影响已两年没有举办的知名电玩展 Electronics Entertainment Expo（E3）原订于今年回归，不料因多家游戏大厂宣布不克出席之后，官方宣布 E3 2023 取消举办。
除了关系不睦且早在 2018 年就宣布不会出席的 Sony Interactive Entertainment（SIE）之外，如 Xbox、Nintendo、Ubisoft、SEGA 与 Level Infinite（腾讯）等多家游戏大厂也纷纷表态无法出席本场盛会，导致官方于近日痛定思痛宣布取消举办 E3 2023。
自 1995 年以来，E3 电玩展一直是许多游戏大厂每年度极为看重的舞台之一，如今却无法得到这些游戏大厂的青睐，看来自疫情之后，官方必须重新审视现况、彻底改革及展望未来，或许才有机会恢复昔日荣光。
