卡普空今日（4 月 7 日）如约发布了《生化危机4 重制版》「佣兵模式」。
「佣兵模式」是原版《生化危机4》也有收录的额外游戏模式，玩家可通过该模式享受快节奏动作射击的乐趣。
在「佣兵模式」中激活“狂攻状态”后，角色能在一段时间内提升攻击力与移动速度等，以此体现“战略”和“战术”的可能性。
游戏开始前，玩家可以选择里昂、路易斯、克劳瑟、汉克共四名角色。每位角色的能力和特色都有所不同。
此外，卡普空今日还放出官方公告，宣布《生化危机4 重制版》全球累计销量突破 400 万份。本作在发售两天后，就达成了总销量 300 万份的成绩。
