Joseph Staten 是原《光环》系列开发者 Bungie 的资深成员， 其本人在《光环：战斗进化》、《光环2》及《光环3》中担任编剧及过场动画导演。除了负责了诸多经典作品的开发外，他还撰写了诸多《光环》世界观衍生小说。Joseph Staten 于2014年加入微软并以高级创意总监的身份负责制定 IP 的经营策略，2020年起负责《光环》游戏的开发。在微软万人裁员后，Joseph Staten 被调任至 Xbox 发行部门。
