此手套是 New Balance 与 Wilson 顶级工匠麻生茂昭（Shigeaki Aso）合作完成，以日本制造的优质 A2K® 手套为蓝本，换上轻质且防水性高的上乘皮革 Tan Pro Stock Select，搭配 Wilson 专利双掌结构防止变形。
同时为了大谷翔平个人需求特地加宽，拇指与小指位置也加入羊毛材质增加硬度，手掌位置的内衬则确保减少滑动。其他细节还有手套上的 New Balance 574 鞋款刺绣，象征品牌与运动员在除了棒球之外的广泛连结。
对于此款定制手套，大谷翔平也特别提到在早先的 WBC 世界棒球经典赛，他就已经开始这款手套的原型，并帮助自己达成将冠军带回日本的梦想，他认为手套上的细节对他来说是享受产品乐趣和在棒球中自由生活的一种方式。
