Netflix 高人气影集《怪奇物语 Stranger Things》将于最终第五季作完结，如今有消息称本剧世界观将再度扩张，Netflix 宣布将继续携手 Duffer Brothers 加码推出全新动画影集。
目前该动画影集尚未命名，但已确定将由澳洲动画工作室 Flying Bark Productions 制作，并由 Erick Robles 担任执行制片，Duffer Brothers 声称两人一直梦想能拍一部关于《怪奇物语》的动画，就像从小就喜欢的「星期六早上的卡通 Saturday morning cartoons」，如今美梦成真让两人十分激动，并称赞 Erick Robles 与其团队的表现让他们十分惊艳，剧本与美术设计令人难以置信，已经迫不及待与粉丝们分享更多，并暗示冒险仍在继续。
Duffer Brothers 将以 Upside Down Pictures 之名加入本剧成为执行制片，而曾任《怪奇物语》导演的 Shawn Levy 与 Dan Cohen 也将以 21 laps 加入本剧，目前尚未确立上线日期，影迷们敬请期待。
