Microsoft PowerToys 的 ChatGPT 插件由社区中名为 Simone Franco 的开发者创建，据其描述，该插件的开发时间不足两个小时。目前该插件的原型已经可以正常工作，但要将其集成到 PowerToys 的预览版或发布版中还需要一些时间。
根据 PR 中的讨论和描述，该 ChatGPT 插件默认关闭，意味着 PowerToys 用户需要打开 PowerToys Run 的设置，并手动启用该功能才能使用。另一个限制是用户需要输入 OpenAI API 密钥，这算是 ChatGPT 服务的通用前置条件，小编就不多介绍。
不过将 ChatGPT 集成到 PowerToys 中，似乎只是对 ChatGPT 浏览器端用法的一种替代方法，实际的使用感受应该是没什么改变。
目前 PowerToys 的最新版本是 4 月 8号 发布的 v0.69 版本，按照其正常发版节奏，下一个 0.70 版本将在一个月后发布，有望在该版本看到 ChatGPT 插件。
