998 预计在今年晚些时候大举回归，以纪念问世 30 周年，事实上此鞋型本就是 New Balance 美制生产线的其中一员，但今次是 Teddy Santis 在 2021 年起执掌 MADE in USA 系列创意总监后，首度加入产品阵容。未来能否如同 990 系列鞋款一般高人气，仍有待时间证明。
