创立于 2002 年的加州车厂 Evasive Motorsports 近日正式带来全新改装新作 Honda S2000R，此命名源自 S2000 换上 Type R 的引擎，由于已停产的 S2000 过去从未推出 Type R 版本，也因此让这款新作品更加吸引人。
此车舍弃了原有的 F20 自然进气引擎，改以 FK8 世代 Civic Type R 的 2 升 K20 涡轮引擎取代，让性能从原先的 237 匹制动马力一口气增加至 302 制动马力。同时新的 S2000R 也维持后驱设定，符合 Evasive Motorsports 希望此车在操驾上更加有趣的目标。
除了引擎之外，还另外选用了碳纤维 Mugen 进气系统、定制进气歧管、Origin Fab 钛金属排气系统、MoTeC ECU、Koyo Racing 水箱、KW Clubsport 避震器、Eibach 防侧倾杆、20th Anniversary Edition 纪念保杆、加宽前拱、碳纤维引擎盖和行李箱盖、Spoon 后视镜等配置，底盘和悬吊也有所优化。
最后外观重新以 Type R 标志性的 Championship White 色调车漆涂装呈现，包括 18 英寸轮框组也是同配色。内部则有 Alcantara 式样仪表板、Recaro 座椅等。
