此前王传福表示，比亚迪希望继续扩大富寿省制造与投资规模，并承诺新一步改进技术，实现可持续发展。王传福称，比亚迪将使用最佳技术扩展到电动汽车制造和组装领域，服务于越南市场并出口到东南亚地区。他表示，希望当地政府为早日完成投资许可提供便利，尽快将电动汽车制造组装项目投入运行。
目前，比亚迪旗下子公司比亚迪电子在越南富寿省富寿市富河工业园区建有电子工厂，能够年产432.5万台平板电脑和5000万个光学镜片。
