James Gunn 最后一部 Marvel 执导作品、MCU 第五阶段大作《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》（现正热映中，而导演在个人 Twitter 接受粉丝提问时证实将会有《Guardians of the Galaxy》演员加盟个人执导 DC 全新超人电影《Superman：Legacy》。
James Gunn 先前转投 DC 阵营执导《The Suicide Squad》与《Peacemaker》，当时就有不少熟识演员跟着加入 DC，包括 Pom Klementieff、Michael Rooker、Stephen Blackehart 与弟弟 Sean Gunn 等人；如今回归 Marvel 执导《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》，另外亦有 Pete Davidson 也被证实有加入本片。
目前尚未确定将会有哪些《Guardians of the Galaxy》演员加盟《Superman：Legacy》，不过 James Gunn 加码宣布 Krypto the Superdog 将会于本片登场，读者们不妨敬请期待。
