法国著名导演 Jean-Luc Godard 于 2022 年 9 月 13 日在瑞士日内瓦湖畔的家中选择辅助自杀（Assisted suicide），享年 91 岁，个人遗作《Drôles de Guerres（英文片名：Phony Wars）》宣布将于戛纳电影节（Cannes Film Festival）进行全球首映。
《Drôles de Guerres》由 Saint Laurent 旗下电影制作公司 Saint Laurent Production 发行，由品牌创意总监 Anthony Vaccarello 创立，携手 Vixens 与 L’Atelier 联合制作，本片片长 20 分钟，新闻稿描述本片是「一部从未存在过的电影预告 Trailer of the film that will never exist」，更称之为电影的终极姿态（The ultimate gesture of cinema）。
另外，为了表示对 Jean-Luc Godard 的致敬，还将同步播映 1963 年经典作品《Le Mépris（英文片名：Contempt）》4K 修复版与导演纪录片《Godard by Godard》，长达一小时的纪录片由 Frédéric Bonnaud 撰写剧本与 Florence Platarets 执导，片中透过 Godard 的言语、目光与作品来回顾他的传奇一生。
