5月17日，日媒报道KONAMI在近日以侵犯专利权的理由起诉了Cygames，要求对方赔偿40亿日元及滞纳金，并关停侵权游戏《赛马娘》。
Cygames对此发表公告，称双方就《赛马娘》的部分系统和程序的专利权进行了协商，但KONAMI并未接受，最终起诉了Cygames。Cygames认为《赛马娘》并未侵害KONAMI的专利权，游戏会正常运营。
目前双方都未公布争议的专利具体内容。
