由于各种争议事件，GAP 与 Kanye West 的合作结束的不算愉快，而破局的关系至今似乎还有尚未完全解决的麻烦。
根据《New York Post》报导，近日 GAP 遭到独立公司 Art City Center 起诉，原因为 GAP 和 Kanye West 在合作期间租用他们旗下建筑，打算进行 YEEZY GAP 联名产品线下发售，却未经批准地私自改建空间，包括卸下天花板灯、构成一堵墙、拆除三间浴室等，导致 Art City Center 事后必须耗费钜资还原状态，才会状告 GAP 希望能得到补偿。
不过，此案件对于 GAP 来说则有不同看法，他们认为整个 YEEZY GAP 包括概念发想等所有合作事宜均由 Kanye West 操刀，因此全部问题应归咎于他，将矛头直指 Kanye West，向他索赔修缮费用及聘请律师之所有款项总共 $200 万美元。
截至目前，Kanye West 并未作出回应，虽然现阶段还不确定事件之后将如何发展，但随着 adidas YEEZY 回归、个人品牌重振等喜讯，还是希望一度跌落谷底的 Kanye West 能够保持状态、继续往好的方向前进，有兴趣的读者不妨多加留意相关新闻。
