品玩6月12日讯，据IT之家消息，OpenAI 的竞争对手Cohere公司日前宣布已获得 2.7 亿美元（当前约 19.25 亿元人民币）的新融资，Cohere 公司声称，这笔融资将作为其“ C 系列”资本的一部分，“将加速 Cohere 的领导地位”，为企业提供 “AI 的力量”，并旨在与 OpenAI 展开正面竞争。
Cohere 首席执行官兼联合创始人 Gomez 称，“AI 将成为推动未来十年的商业变革的核心”。他表示，“当下，外界逐渐将生成式 AI 落实至商业阶段，许多公司正在寻求 Cohere 帮助他们在当下抓住新机遇，而下一阶段的 AI 产品和服务将彻底改变商业的未来，我们已准备好引领潮流。”
Gomez 曾在谷歌担任 AI 研究员。在 2017 年，Gomez 和一群同事共同撰写了一篇名为“Attention Is All You Need”的论文，后来 Gomez 从谷歌跳槽，并创立了属于自己的 Cohere 公司。
据悉，Cohere 公司的本轮融资由 Inovia 领投，英伟达、甲骨文、Salesforce Ventures 等其他公司跟投，目前 Cohere 公司的估值已达到 22 亿美元（当前约 156.86 亿元人民币）。
