通过 「Orphaned Works」展览， Henri Alexander Levy 展现出了他潜意识中的构想，这种思考是有关痛苦，内心的暴力和克制间的斗争。艺术家创造出一种纯粹而简约的混乱，这种二元性可以在他作品的调色板中得到体现，黑暗与光明，悲伤与美丽从黑色中浮现出来。在混合多种媒介、添加纹理、破坏和重建图层后，Henri Alexander Levy 展示出自己的创作语言。当他把一块从手腕上掉落的布料融入画布时，布料并没有变成艺术品，它只是画中孤立出来的另一个符号。这个象征出现在两个维度之间，也充当着通往埋藏记忆的桥梁。同时还可以理解为另一种道路的隐喻，即童年和成年之间的不确定性，人们因拒绝某种社会文化结构而成为孤儿。
