据介绍，零一万物总部注册于北京，目前团队已经有数十名核心成员。已加入的联创团队成员包括前阿里巴巴副总裁、前百度副总裁、前滴滴/百度首席算法负责人等，算法和产品团队背景均来自国内外大厂，同时启动2023 DeeCamp AI人才项目。
今年3月，李开复在朋友圈表示筹办新公司 Project AI 2.0，目标是大模型领域。李开复认为，AI 2.0不仅是个聊天工具，也不仅是个图文创作的 AIGC 生成， Co-pilot 和如今看到的应用都还只是 AI 2.0 能力的开端。
