Christopher Nolan 最新执导大作《奥本海默 Oppenheimer》上映在即，日前在电影的伦敦首映会上，Nolan 就在受访时透露了本作的预算，「这是一个大故事，需要很多的人才，这是一部耗资 $1.8 亿美元、剧本长达 180 页的电影。」
值得留意的是，Universal Pictures 在 2021 年宣布制作《奥本海默》时，对外的说法是斥资 $1 亿美元制作，后续的营销再花 $1 亿美元，没料到实际制作成本就达到了 $1.8 亿美元，超出预期不少。而成本的增加，很大可能是由于 Nolan 坚持全程实景拍摄、无 CG 特效的做法，可以想像光是真实模仿原子弹试爆的画面，就需要耗费多少人力物力来达成。
另外不可不提的是，由于目前 Hollywood 罢工持续扩展到演员工会，身为工会成员，演员们是不能参与任何电影宣传活动，因此在上述提到的伦敦首映会上，众演员们在工会宣布罢工后，第一时间就立刻离开。根据守则，倘若罢工持续进行，后续任何影展、宣传活动、影迷见面会全都禁止出席。
