总部位于菲律宾的金融科技初创公司Salmon日前宣布，已经获得了一笔2000万美元规模的债务融资。作为背景，去年10月份时，Salmon曾完成了其1600万美元的A轮融资。
据了解，本次融资由专注于新兴市场地区投资的美国投资机构Argentem Creek Partners提供。根据声明，这笔资金将用来扩大Salmon在菲律宾的贷款业务，并推进公司在今年下半年推出新的产品。
值得一提的是，据介绍，Salmon本次的2000万美元融资是菲律宾A轮科技公司中迄今为止规模最大的债务融资。
Salmon成立于2022年，是一个专注于消费市场的金融借贷平台，其平台可以使客户从在菲律宾证券交易委员会注册的合作伙伴处获得金融产品。据透露，Salmon在成立仅四个月后就推出了首款信贷产品，且在此后的每三个月里就推出一款新产品。
目前，Salmon在其马尼拉总部共有140名员工。
