本田汽车发布了本财年第一财季（2023年4月1日-2023年6月30日）的业绩报告。
从汽车业务的主要销售市场来看，本田在日本国内销售几乎与去年持平；基于零部件和半导体供应中断的影响缓解，本田在美国市场销量出现大幅快速增长；但在中国市场由于不断增长的新能源汽车市场竞争日益激烈，本田汽车销量相较去年同期有所下滑。
2023年上半年，东风本田的销量为22.70万辆，同比下滑了32.80%，成为日系合资品牌中下滑幅度最大车企。目前，东风本田在新能源上还没能打出爆款，本田在华首款纯电动车e:NS16月的销量只有155辆，上半年的累计销量也不过2882辆，成为市场笑谈。
