据悉，陆地探测四号 01 星由中国航天科技集团有限公司五院研制，满足我国及周边区域防灾减灾、地震监测、国土资源勘察及海洋、水利、气象、农业、环保、林业等行业应用需求。
长征三号乙运载火箭由航天科技集团一院研制，采用了长三甲系列火箭统一构型设计思路，仪器舱为双激光惯组分体吊状态。
