这部手绘动画影片启动于2018年底完成于2021年初，也是脱离学生生活，工作几年后重新开始的独立动画创作。
因为疫情，工作团队分散在不同城市，甚至不同时区，当时在制作的同时还有正职的工作要做，专案规划与时间安排是最大的挑战，与学生时期的懒散，盲目等待灵感的自由创作方式大不相同，现在还记得有大部分的镜头是在出差的隔离酒店内完成的。
三年的辛苦有了小小回报，得以借由这部影片参加一些动画影展认识更多创作者，虽然当时因为疫情没办法现场参加所有的影展，也对于重新开始创作燃起了热情。
