尽管微软收购动视暴雪后，众多玩家期望《使命召唤》和《暗黑破坏神》能马上进入Xbox Game Pass，但最近Phil Spencer表示，《使命召唤》在完成收购后并不会立即进入。
Spencer在与IGN的访谈中明确表示，即便收购交易完成，将《使命召唤》纳入Game Pass也不是瞬间完成的工作，而需要经过一系列准备过程。他强调：“一些玩家认为交易完成后就能直接玩到这些游戏，但实际情况比较复杂。”
更进一步，Spencer提及，合并后还需进行许多“机械性工作”，这导致了一段不确定的延迟期，直到Xbox和PC玩家能在Game Pass中看到《使命召唤》。
之前的资料显示，至少到2025年，微软都不可能将《使命召唤》纳入Xbox Game Pass。
微软收购动视暴雪的过程充满曲折，但如今这一交易看起来即将完成。微软近期将动视的游戏串流权卖给了育碧，并针对交易进行了调整，以满足CMA的要求。目前，微软希望能在10月的最后期限前获得正式批准。
