《New Arc Line》以同时具有魔法和蒸汽工业的虚构世界为故事背景，玩家将“发明致命的小玩意或掌握奥术，通过战斗、偷窃或花言巧语走上巅峰，结交敌人和盟友，坠入爱河，卷入大规模阴谋，并影响历史进程”。
《New Arc Line》的战斗是回合制的，玩家可以指挥自己的自定义角色和招募的队友，在这个“故事丰富的单人角色扮演游戏”中随心所欲的做好事或者坏事。未来随着开发进度的推进，官方会公布将有更多关于这款游戏的信息。
