据路透社报道，Google 于当地时间周三宣布，旗下生成式 AI 搜索服务 SGE 将首次登陆美国以外的国家，首先将在印度和日本推广。
据介绍，日本和印度的用户需先加入 Search Labs，才可使用这一新功能。语言方面，日本用户可以用日语来使用该功能，而印度用户可以选择使用英语、印地语来使用该功能。
Google 的生成式 AI 搜索功能（SGE）全称 Search Generative Experience，在今年 5 月初召开的 I / O 开发者大会上，Google 宣布为“搜索”整合生成式 AI 功能，帮助用户在搜索过程中绕过一些操作、更容易理解新主题，发现不同的观点，并“更容易完成工作”。
该功能为 Google 搜索引入了一种对话模式，用户可就某个主题向 Google“提问”，Google 随后会返回答案。而在经过了几次更新过后，Google 在本月初为搜索结果加入了更多基于 AI 的“总结性”功能，如“增加影音的搜索权重”、“提升内容摘要生成速度”、“为搜索结果标注来源及时间点”。
目前这项全新体验仅面向注册 Search Labs 项目的用户开放。
