Forum Introduction
北京大学信息工程学院国际优秀青年学者论坛旨在为信息学科领域的海内外领军人才、优秀青年学者搭建一个学术研讨与交流平台,同时响应北京大学深圳研究生院“AI牵引、创新融合”的未来发展理念,通过学术报告、研讨会等形式,汇聚海内外信息领域交叉学科优秀青年英才,促进国际前沿优秀研究成果交流,落实学院新人才战略,为深研院引进重点领域的领军人才和优秀青年人才,也为粤港澳大湾区吸引更多青年科技才俊贡献力量。本论坛将主要围绕国际信息学科学术前沿,探讨相关领域热点,力求促进各路英才与北京大学信息工程学院的深入合作。
The International Excellent Young Scholars Forum of the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering of Peking University aims to build a platform for academic discussions and exchanges for leading talents and excellent young scholars in the field of information disciplines at home and abroad, and to respond to the future development concept of “AI traction and innovation integration” of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, through academic reports and seminars.
The forum will bring together outstanding young talents in the interdisciplinary field of information science at home and abroad, promote the exchange of outstanding research results at the international frontier, implement the new talent strategy of the School, introduce leading talents and outstanding young talents in key fields to the Shenzhen Graduate School, and also contribute to attracting more young talents in science and technology to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This forum will mainly focus on the academic frontier of international information disciplines, discuss important topics in related fields, and seek to promote in-depth cooperation between various talents and the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering of Peking University.

北京大学信息工程学院(以下简称“本学院”)成立于2002年,隶属于北京大学深圳研究生院,坐落在北京大学深圳国际化一流校区,学院充分结合北京大学的学科优势和粤港澳大湾区的信息产业优势,探索产学研一体化的办学新模式,是北京大学建设国际顶尖信息学科发展战略的重要与特色组成部分,以“引领信息科技变革、支撑大湾区发展战略”为己任,具有AI牵引、交叉融合的学科发展特征。
本学院面向未来智能社会,以培养引领未来科技和产业发展的高层次复合型“新工科”+“新理科”人才为根本任务。坚持科教融合,与鹏城国家实验室、深圳湾实验室等战略科技力量与头部企业紧密合作,承担引领信息社会变革的重大系统和重大工程,在深圳推动北京大学理工医文等学科交叉渗透和融合变革,打造具有“AI+X”特色的顶尖信息学科人才培养和科学研究基地。本学院与本部信息学科优势互补、协同发展,以“四个面向”为指引,依托粤港澳大湾区,大力发展集成电路科学与工程、计算机应用技术两大优势学科,聚焦并重点打造科学智能和新一代网络通信两个新学科方向,致力于成为深圳研究生院抓住新时代发展机遇、建设扎根粤港澳大湾区的世界一流大学园区的核心支撑。
The School of Electronic and Computer Engineering of Peking University (hereinafter referred to as “the School”) was established in 2002 and is affiliated to the Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, located in the international first-class campus of Peking University in Shenzhen. The School fully combines the disciplinary advantages of Peking University and the advantages of the information industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, exploring a new model of integrating industry, academia and research, which is an important and distinctive part of Peking University’s development strategy to build an international top information discipline. It is with the mission of “leading the transformation of information techno-logy and supporting the development strategy of the Greater Bay Area”, and is characterized by the development of AI-pulled and cross-fertilised disciplines.
Facing the future intelligent society, the School takes the fundamental task of cultivating high-level composite “Emerging Engineering” + “Emerging Science” talents who will lead the development of future technology and industry.
It insists on the integration of science and education and cooperates closely with Pengcheng National Laboratory, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory and other strategic scientific and technological forces and leading enterprises to undertake major systems and projects that will lead the transformation of the information society, and promote the cross-pollination and integration of the disciplines of science, engineering, medicine and literature at Peking University in Shenzhen to build a top information discipline talent training and scientific research base with characteristics of “AI+X”.
At Peking University, our school and the information science at the Beijing campus complement each other’s strengths and develop in a synergistic manner. Guided by the “Four Orientations” and relying on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the School vigorously develops the two dominant disciplines of integrated circuit science and engineering and computer application technology, and focuses on two new disciplines of scientific intelligence and new-generation network communication aiming to become the core support for Shenzhen Graduate School to seize the development opportunities of the new era and build a world-class university campus rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

注意事项:报告内容应体现前沿性,新颖性或交叉性,须准备PPT,报告中英文不限。待参会名单确定后会通过邮件通知报名者。
Note: The content of the presentation should be cutting-edge, novel or interdisciplinary. A PPT is required. The presentation can be in either English or Chinese. Applicants will be notified by email once the list of participants is finalized.

遵守中华人民共和国法律法规,具有良好的学术道德,自觉践行新时代科学家精神;

出生日期在1984年1月1日(含)以后,如为信息学科领军人才,年龄条件可适当放宽;
-
具有博士学位;
-
研究方向主要为人工智能、集成电路、通信等学科方向等;
-
在2024年3月1日前,一般应在海外高校、科研机构、企业研发机构获得正式教学或者科研职位,且具有连续36个月以上工作经历;在海外取得博士学位且业绩特别突出的,可适当放宽工作年限要求;
-
取得同行专家认可的科研或技术等成果,且具有成为该领域学术带头人或杰出人才的发展潜力。

Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, have good academic ethics, and consciously practice the spirit of scientists in the new era;
-
The date of birth is after January 1, 1984 (inclusive), and the age condition may be appropriately relaxed if you are a leading talent in information disciplines;
-
Possess a doctorate degree;
-
The research direction is mainly artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, communications and other disciplines;

Before March 1st, 2024, generally should have obtained a formal teaching or research position in an overseas university, scientific research institution, or enterprise R&D institution, and have more than 36 consecutive months of work experience; those who have obtained a doctorate overseas and have particularly outstanding performance, the working years requirement may be relaxed appropriately;

Obtain scientific research or technical achievements recognized by peer experts, and have the potential to become academic leaders or outstanding talents in this field.

All staff in the teaching and research series are eligible for admission to doctoral programs and can independently set up academic teams including doctoral students, postdocs and full-time researchers, with priority given to doctoral students.
